

INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations (UN). The ICJ is made up of 15 judges, settles legal disputes between states in accordance with international law, and provides advisory opinions on legal matters referred to it by authorized UN organs and specialized agencies.

MEET THE CHAIR
Welcome to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) committee, the UN’s principal judicial organ also known as the “World Court”. This committee’s mission is to resolve different disputes between nations and provide advisory opinions on international legal issues, in order to contribute to global peace and security. We appreciate your participation and look forward to a constructive and enriching dialogue in this space with the purpose of influencing future decisions and the evolution of international law.
